If you had 3-4 days of the mucus, if I were you I'd consider the last day you had it as your ovulation day.

Yes, DPO means "days past ovulation"

You can't really know for sure when you ovulate without a doctor checking you to SEE the mature folicule, but EWCM is a sign of it, yes. Most women TTC also monitor temperature, but that is only a sign of ovulation after the fact, while CM usually happens as your body does the gearing-up to release the egg. I don't know about the ovulation testing kits.

Your body doesn't care about a calendar, so go by your body's signals and not a specific date.

Each woman is different as to whether they ovulate on the day of the EWCM, or even after it disappears. Sperm can live inside a woman for 3-5 days most sources say, so it is definitely possible to become pregnant.

A white or creamy coloured mucus can be one of the signs of ovulation.
You may experience a little dull pain in your tummy or back or sometimes a stabbing pain and  you may also experience sore breasts.  Your body temperature may also be raised slightly.
You can purchase a ovulation kit to help you know when you are ovulating.

The link below explains in more detail about ovulation.

A white, yellow or green discharge would indicate a fungal, bacterial, or STD and should always be investigated by the doctor.

There would be no way for you to know if you are pregnant.  You would need to wait the appropriate length of time to get a correct reading using a home pregnancy testing kit, or see the doctor to do the appropriate tests.

Yes. But it should have a transparent look to it. Not white. Does it match your calendar ?
