To Bumbelina_7, I have already received a blood test because I was thinking that that might be the issue due to my constant fatigue, but my levels are normal.
Hi, you might want to have your thyroid checked. The same thing happened to me. From 120 lbs, I became 165 lbs. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which causes weight gain.
Thank you for the response, I will definitely start tracking myself.
Weight gain can be from a slew of different things. Start writing down everything you eat and do for exercise. Or get an app on your phone, those are great! Once you truly see your caloric intake versus how much you're working off, you'll see your problem. I wasn't eating appropriately, and what I thought was good exercise was only retaining where I was at. The old we get the slower our metabolism gets, so we have to make a greater effort to retain it's fast action. Also take a mental health check. Do you feel depressed, stressed, have anxiety? If so, rebalance your mind however you need to. Lastly, seek a nutritionist. They're a great resource for getting on a healthy diet plan with adequate exercise to meet your specific needs.
