Undiagnosable Infection?

I’m currently 21, in a long lasting relationship of 6 years and have never had any sexual issues/ infections prior to this incident. Starting early August 2016 I spent the day walking (this involved over 10 hours of pure walking with only one break in-between). Following this I went to my partner’s house and attempted to perform sexual intercourse with him, however we were interrupted when he mentioned to me that I “didn’t smell quite right down there”.  I went home and checked, but I thought I smelt normal. 1 week later I noticed a change in my smell and felt I had a few symptoms of thrush:  White discharge, Pain while having sex, itching down below. I proceeded to get some over the counter drugs and took the one off tablet (fluconazole).
A couple of days later I felt I wasn’t sorted but it was different to before, I needed to go to the toilet more often and I felt pain while going to the toilet. Painful sex was the only symptom that continued from the previous infection. Once again I got the over the counter packet to deal with, what I presumed was cystitis. (Cymalon sachets). After finishing the treatment while on holiday, I felt better and decided to attempt sex with my partner once more, however it was extremely painful to have any intercourse with him as I felt “closed up”. I assumed after a while it would go away due to my vagina still believe I had the infection.
Now October 2016 and my symptoms have not vanished, sex is still extremely painful though the pain varies in severity. I have had an ultrasound for Endometriosis and Pelvic inflammatory disease, which has come back clear. My GP has done two swab tests one on the outside and an internal swab: both have come back negative for any infections / STDS. My symptoms seem to change over the past month, from having white cottage like discharge to yellow discharge, pain while going to the toilet and pelvic pain, including heavy periods. I am on the pill but during this confusion I have come off and haven’t had sex since. Currently 28th October 2016 my only symptoms would be slightly different smell, sometimes having small discomfort while using the toilet and still remaining painful intercourse.
I have another appointment in a weeks’ time to discuss what is happening next as my ultrasound came back negative. If anyone has had similar or knows what I should ask for I would be so grateful. I just want to go back to my happy life and not have this annoying strain on my relationship. Also as it is relevant, I have been to visit my doctor about this situation around 5 times now I have been given no antibiotics since they can’t find anything and none of my local GP’s know what is up with me, the next step they said would be sending me to Gynaecologist but after reading online I’m hesitant that they will find anything wrong with me.

Former Gyn International. I would contact them to see if they can help you. It's costs but worth it if you aren't getting help through the doctors you've been seeing
