Why is my period late?

I've been on loestrin 30 for over a year, and I started taking the pill to control mood swings and to get lighter periods. For several months my periods have been really light and only lasted 2-3 days, and this month I finished taking my pills on Friday 19th, and 4 days later I still haven't got my period. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend for a few months, but I always took the pills at the right time, and very rarely missed one anymore. I'm having all of the "symptoms" of a period (pains, soreness, cravings, mood swings etc.), just no bleeding, and I'm worrying about why I'm so late.
