Wishing for a BFP!!!

Hello all, I haven't posted in quite some time.  My DH and I have been trying to get pregnant since my first miscarriage on
Aug 14/05.  The first day of my last period was on Feb 17/06 and my AF is expected to arrive on Mar 16th or 17th.  I have been feeling a bit queasy lately and when touched my breasts are sore, they also appear and feel somewhat larger.  I'm so afraid to test because of the terrible BFN.  I am praying that this is not the case and wondering when would be a good time to do a pregnancy test to be sure of the result?  Also can any of you share your symptoms or lack of symptoms before finding out the BFP?  Everyone's responses will be much appreciated!!

Hi, to all mommies

I have just weaned off my baby boy (18 mths) from breastfeeding about 3 weeks ago. My hubby and I are planning for a 2nd child. As my menses is very irregular due to the breastfeeding and is very difficult to predict and determine my ovulation. My last menese is on 22 Feb 06. Anyone know, usually how long will it take to regulate meneses after complete weaning. My usual cycle before pregnant is about 35 to 38 days. Its our desire to have a baby soon. Anyone can help? Thanks

Our body has a way of tricking us. I too have had a few cycles were i have had symptoms that have made me think this is it!!! but alas it wasn't. The point is ladies if you want it so bad it may happen but also it may not. I have heard of people having phantom pregancies too.Good luck to all of us********

your urine wouldnt matter at 8 weeks, a hpt would show positive. if you had bleeding after you think you concieved it would most likely be your period. if your worried get a blood test..

Hi there..best of luck to all who are wanting a baby, and congrats to those who are expecting! This is my first post here after scouring several boards for hours the last couple of weeks. I would appreciate..truly! any comments. I know I may be hoping to hard(and you know what happens THEN!) but on the other hand, I didn't even really think about pregnancy until I started getting all of the symptoms. I was a single mom of a great almost 13 year old until I married my husband(he's from England, I'm from WI!) last year..our 1st anniversary is coming up later this month! Anywayyyy ;) We had unprotected sex about January 20th/21st...I don't have all the dates exact as I wasn't really trying(but really want to be pregnant at the same time...) In mid February I had about 3 to maybe 4 days of bleeding but light..it was bright red(so I know what you're thinking! ;) ) but I normally flow very heavy for 3/4 days and AF lasts for at least 6 and usually 7 days every month. Then yesterday something I've never had before..brown discharge at the beginning of what I thought was AF..but nothing yet but brown and pink. I have had two BFN!! :( tests now, but I wonder if I have any hope or I'm just holding onto a dream here. I have almost every other symptom(except I've never noticed metallic mouth really)the large bumps on my aereolas, feeling queasy every morning, breasts are fuller, feel bloated, tender breasts mostly around the nipple...I don't know. I just FEEL pregnant even tho it didn't occur to me at the time. My husband would be happy too even tho we weren't trying, he knew I wasn't on anything. Any comments would be appreciated...I'm really doubting it myself at this point and feeling really sad. I don't even know how far I would be if I were..about 8 weeks?? Seems pretty unrealistic I guess. :( Thanks all, and sorry so long...M.

sorry to keep adding, but I can't figure if I can edit my post? Didn't mention that I just couldn't wait any longer and figured if I WAS 8 weeks it shouldnt matter so took this last negative test about 2 hrs after I had gone to the bathroom and at night, so my urine wasn't concentrated..would that even matter at 8 weeks??? Thanks..M.

Thank you both.  I agree, getting a BFN is frustrating.  I think I will test on the weekend, of course if AF doesn't show up. I wish you greenpixie all the baby dust to becoming pregnant with a sticky baby very soon and I also hope that by the end of the week I can share my joy with all of you.

DH & I have been TTC since July 05.  We haven't been successful yet.  I chart so I know that I O.  I'm not sure why it's not happening.  I just wanted to say that in the past 8 months I have had TWO times where I just knew I was pregnant b/c of some "symptoms" I was having.  Imagine how surprised I was to get those !#$^%* BFNs!!  It has taught me that even when I "feel" pregnant I may not be.  I know that one of these times I'll be right, but I'm waiting until I'm late before I ever POAS again.  I totally agree with dollchina's advice to you too. Wait until you are late for AF.  Seeing a BFN is so frustrating.  Your odds of getting a true result are better if you can wait it out.  I hope this is it for you!

Sorry for your loss.  I too m/c in Jan and it was my first pregnancy.  I had my first af on Feb 8 after my d&c and got a BFP on March 10, 14 dpo.  I think you should test the day of or after your af.  I chart BBT so I knew I wasn't getting af since my temp was high.  My current symptoms are fatigue, frequest urination, and sore bbs.  I hope you get your BFP this week!
