YAZ, anyone??
I am starting on YAZ bc pills this weekend. I am OVERWEIGHT and have PCOS.
I am hoping it will level me out and PERHAPS level my weight out as well. I have a Thyroid disease, but it's being treated just fine. Anyone try Yaz and LOST weight!!!??

i am taking yaz and it cleared my skin, regulated my period, and i have weight loss.
the side effects i have (Now) after taking yaz for 1 month and 2 weeks :
- drowsiness
- headaches
- body aches
- sore throat
...
i really hate having to feel like i have a cold. :(

Yeah, I know that the progestin in it acts like a diuretic....thus eliminating water weight. I guess in the case of Polycycstic ovaries, balancing the hormones could, in fact encourage weight loss ( which is a major symptom of PCOS) I was hoping to get some feedback from those using YAZ as of now. Thanks
Yaz isn't supposed to cause weight loss, it's just supposed to help prevent your body from retaining excess fat, a side effect that many birth control pills normally cause.
