Yaz quesion

by ggin35, Jun 13, 2007 12:00AM
I was on Yasmin but it had horrible side effects on me. My doctor wants me to try Yaz now. Has anyone here tried it? Please let me know your experiences with it. I had a hyterectomy where they removed my uterus but I kept my ovaries. I am still having problems with PMDD. I am not worried about breakthrough bleeding because of this. Just any other side effects. Thanks you!

I handled Yasmin fine years ago and then recentley try to go on Yaz and hated the way it made me feel. You probably just have to try it and see.

I've been on Yaz for two weeks now and its been great! I was so so so scared and hesistant to try it because I had read so many negative posts about it. I have had horrible acne all my life and was prescribed Yaz for it since I hear it has some Spiro in it good for hormonal acne. My first week was annoying I was very Nauseous
I also had minor dizziness and Diarrhea and slight irritability with some chest sensations. Towards the beginning of second week My face looks the clearest its been in sooooo long and I have no more of those side effects I had in the first week. The only thing I can probably complain about is vaginal dryness but other than that its been great. I've heard that if you've tried Ortho and did bad on it Yaz is usually good for you and vice versa. Ortho was the worst pill in the world for me. But Yaz is great I recommend people to try it b/c If I wouldve listened to all the negative posts I wouldve never given it a chance and still had that horrible hormonal breakout I had for so long I cant even remember when I didnt have it anymore. I'm glad I gave Yaz a try so far its worked for me.

Hi Veronicam83,

I've been on Yaz for ONE weeks now.....was so scared too and hesistant to try it... however, doctor recommended it..and I have had horrible acne at my forehead.

The only thing that I was really suprised that my period comes very fast right after my finish 1 week period (after took Yaz). My face seems clear (which is good), me got no vaginal pain or etc.

But, what am scared of is that normal vaginal bleeding and its been going on 5 days now.

I stop taking Yaz in 5 days....and wondering is that OK to stop it forever? :(

Please....needed you guys opinion and let me know....
