There isn't anything you can do that i know of to speed up a period! you jsut have to wait till your body says so. if your worried theres a problem, go to yuor doctor as thats what they are paid for!!!
It depends on the individual really. Many things affect the return of you period. Depends on the damage you did to your body. You said you received treatment. What type of treatment. If you have a treatment team (meaning nutritionis, dr., therapists), you should be able to discuss that with them. They will not be able to give you definitive answers though. I lost my period when I was 17. It took about 6 months to get it back once I started eating as I should. You may need to see a gyn to get it "jump started." Give it a couple more months and then see a dr.
Good luck. I hope your recovery goes well.
I too had an eating disorder and didn't have a period for 2 years in my 20s. (I over-exercised, too.) My doctor gave me a shot of Provera to jumpstart my period. I pretty much have
regular periods and now have 5 children - I'm 47 now. It
sounds like you to talk to your team and your GYN to get their
advice.
I would talk to the doctor. I did not have an eating disorder, but after going off of depo, I did not have a period for almost a year, and the dr. gave me provera to jump start my period. It worked just fine.
Good luck
