I had all the pregnancy symptoms.. sore breast morning sickness etc. But, was still having light periods. I thought it was strange so I went to the GP and got a urine test that proved negative and an ultrasound read nothing out of the ordinary.. The symptoms kept getting worse and worse and 2 months later I went back to get docs and I got another urine test which was negative. The doctor tried to convince me I was ok. But I knew I wasn't!! So I wanted to know what was wrong and requested a blood test.. And it showed that I was pregnant.. I went for an ultrasound that week and it revealed I was 16 weeks.. which backs up what jessMW said. I hope this helps, its a hard situation to be in!

I was pregnant with 4 negative blood tests. I miscarried at about 6 weeks but they doctor's thought I was crazy until I miscarried. Then they weren't so condescending. Chins up! Medicine and science don't know everything.

actually i've been doing research on this and apparently a negative blood test happens to about 30% of women who are actually pregnant and it just wont show up till the 4th month.
