are blood clots normal?

i didnt start my period for a month., so i did a pregnancy test and it came out negative. three days later i started my period, and i was passing some quarter size clots.does that mean i had a miscarriage, or is that normal???

no it doesnt sound like a miscarriage. you did not even get a positve pregnancy test. you would have gotten a postive pregnancy test. you can pass clots.

it doesnt sound like a miscarrige but im not a doctor so i dont know
i do know however that i once had huge clots and got very scared, i rung the NHS and the doctor said as long as i dont have a fever im fine
and ever since then i have clots now and then
i think there just normal

some times women have clots during their periods.
i know i do sometimes,  
if your worried about it then go see your dr.
but if you didnt have any abnormal cramping or severe pain then you should be just fine.

if the test came out negative then it is more likely NOT a miscarriage.

It sounds like a miscarriage. You would have to go to your Dr. to find out for sure.
