birthcontrol issues

I'm on seasonique so I only get a period every 3 months. Over the last month I've had a lot of discharge that looks like bloody snot. I think it's caused by my birthcontrol. I think I'm going to go off it and try NFP to prevent but I'm not sure. I don't have the money to go see a GYN.

Thank you. I went ahead and stopped taking the birth control. I'm feeling so much better now. I'm thinking about calling my provider and see about getting on another one. Just not sure yet. The spotting has stopped and I'm no longer getting migraines. Thank you for your reply.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The symptoms that you are having seem to be due to the birth control Seasonique. You can discuss it with your gynecologist and change to other form of birth control like birth control oral contraceptive pills or Mirena. If it persists then causes of intermenstrual bleeding should be ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
