It doesn't say she had a pap smear....

Anyways, I do suggest for you to see your gyn on this. I remembered back in high school I had this brown almost black discharge too and my periods were very irregular. It turns out I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), don't worry it's not as bad as it sounds. I'm being treated now, and no more abnormal dischage.

when are you experiencing this before, after or during your menstrual cycle? If its after and a little prolonged seems normal. But keep monitoring it and get back to me on this question. don't worry where are here to help. Pap smears may rupture the hymen so you want to be carefully here...keep strong

that is spotting - it happens between periods - the goop woukd be cervical mucus - its normal... but you may want to check with your dr to have a pap smear to make sure you dont have a cyst or something in your cervix or if something else is going on in your vaginal region
