I had a miscarriage exactly 3 months ago, it takes a while for your body to go back to normal, I know the anxiety of ttc again I also thought I was pregnant last month because I hadn't got my period but it was all my hormones goin crazy, I finally got my first cycle it's so heavy the first 2days but seems like everything is back to normal, I wish you go thru this real wuick and remember your not alone , lots of baby dust

Hi there.  Hm, well.  I'm guessing that you were not pregnant this time around.  (sorry for your loss).  You just had the miscarriage one month ago.  Sounds like a very early miscarriage.  When you say you miscarried and didn't know you were pregnant----  how DO you know you were pregnant?

Anyway, if you did have a miscarriage, it does take a bit for hormones to get right back to normal.  If your period is due in one week, the spotting may just be in relation to that.  It would be too early to really even BE pregnant this cycle as you would have just ovulated and that is only if things are right on track.  You can't take a pregnancy test or anything as you are a week out from when your period is expected.

I would try not to worry about this.  If you have an increase of bleeding, see your doctor.  Any dark black or brown blood is old blood and would be related to the miscarriage or whatever happened last month most likely.

It is always helpful to have a full medical exam when trying to conceive and after we think we had a miscarriage so I would consider this.  good luck to you and hope you are better from your flu.
