blood clots

can blood clots come out of your mouth right before getting menstrual cycle? I woke up this morning (5:20am)  with a blood clot just sitting in my mouth. Later on at around 7 am I got my menstrual cycle.  This is the first time that this happens.  I checked my mouth and theres nothing wrong with my teeth or gums so I can't understand where the blood clot would have came from. any ideas?

Pretty sure that is NOT normal.  I would see a doctor.  It is possible that it came from your throat and that is not something you can see.  A dr. would have to check for you.

yes it can happen, because i have nose bleeds and clots before my period and my doctor said it is not good but sometimes it can happen.
