Sex during period

I had sex with a condom on the sixth day of my period when it was almost finished and very light.  The next day my period stopped, and my period ususally lasts a bit longer than six days.  A day later my period started again, or atleast there was some more bleeding.  What are the chances of me being pregnant?

the sex most likely caused your period to be thrown off... have you had sex during your period before?

If you used protection properly and such, you shouldn't be pregnant, no.
It's probably what the first reply said - it threw off your period a bit. You said you haven't done this on your period before; that's probably why. No worries hopefully.

yup- you shouldn't be worried. even if something went wrong with the condom (although it sounds like it didn't) you would've been the least fertile at that time. have you considered going on the pill? i always found my mind was always full of the same kind of "what if" questions and every little variation in my cycle made me paranoid until i went on the pill. it really eased my mind (although i still made my bf wear a condom).

Thank-you very much, you've helped ease my mind a bit, and yes I have considered it, and will in the future.

However, if ovulation occurs around 14 days after your period begins, ( I know this varys from woman to woman) and i had sex on the sixth day of mine, and sperm can live for about 3 days, I'm just worried that its cutting it a little to close to have sex my sixth day, because I don't know when my day of ovulation is.

You don't need to worry - at all. If the condom didn't break - it didn't fail, then it's 100% effective against pregnancy and most stds. The reason why condoms are said to be less than 100% effective is because sometimes they break, thus putting someone at risk. When the condom remains in tact, you will be safe.

So... don't worry - you will not get pregnant from this encounter.
