brown discharge!
im 16 and last had my period about two weeks ago and the past few 3 or 4 months, iv had this brown discharge when ever im not on my period.. i get my period then all i have is brown discharge til i get it again? how do i stop it? im too imbarrased to go to the doc! HELP!
Hmmmm, I never had that problem with taking iron tablets, but the pill - that could be causing it. Is being on the pill new for you? If so, I'd tell the doc what is occurring.

Usually brown discharge is normal at the beginning or end of your period, but I don't know about every single day in between periods. Are you on any type of birth control? That's one of the things I can think of that could contribute to it.
I know you say you are embarassed to see a doctor, but at 16 you need to start thinking about picking out an obgyn so you can start your annual female checkups. With the problem you are having, I'd say now is a good time to go, get a checkup, and mention what's going on. Good luck to you!
