can you get pregnant?

I got the depo shot on the 30th Of june. the doctor that gave me the shot told me to take a test 2 weeks after the the 29th becuase i had unprotected sex on the 29 with my BF .  I heard it takes about a month for the depo to completely work, i also heard it takes about a week for it to completely work. Well i had unprotected sex on the 4th, 5th, 8th&the 9th of July with him and the last two times he came in me. I wonder if there's still a chance that i could be pregnant?

although it does take time for the shot to fully be in affect, i dont think having sex right after you get it was a smart idea on your behalf. You didnt listen to your doctor and went against her saying, even the one week saying, and have sex anyways. If you turn out pregnant then its on you. BUT, although the repo does take time to affect, so does the process of getting pregnant. the chemical in the shot could run interfeirence wth the egg and sperm. It could run by the sperm swimming their way to your egg and kill them where they are. Or, it could have gotten to your egg, whether it was newly fertile with the entrance of a sperm recently and it could have cut off the activity. To be sure, however, take a test when yor near the time for your period. If its negative and u missed ur period, wait 7 days ant take another in the early morning. If still nothing goto your gyno
