chronic yeast infection Please, Pleases help!

Hi! So I have never had a problem with yeast infections until I started dating my new partner. We started having sex and after two weeks I got a yeast infection, took diflucan and it went away, Then two weeks later it came back, diflucan wasn't helping so was given flagyl and it went aways, two weeks later its back and the doctor tested it and said it was yeast, I am taking terazol now, which by the way sucks, and it's the first day no real improvements, but I guess don't expect miracles, this time its harder to shake, so my doctor gave my BF the diflucan so we'll see, but please help this problem of recurring yeast infections is killing me, I take yogart every day and a accidop. pil every day as well. Please help!

I had problems with chronic yeast infections. The only thing that worked for me was boric acid suppositories. I took Gy-na-tren, a combination of boric acid and probiotics. You can make boric acid vaginal suppositories yourself if you want to. Boric acid creams are available too. I also mixed 1 drop of oregano oil in about 1 tablespoon of olive oil and applied that on the outer area. I am FINALLY feeling much better with these treatments.

I had a yeast infection that was cuased by some medication I was taking and that over the counter stuff is not recommended by doctors because it can A-make it worse B-just temporarily relieve the symptoms & not get rid of the infection. Terazol is what I used and mines went away the itching stopped after 3 or 4 days of using it so just give it time. I believe you have to use that stuff for a week right? You should use condoms with this new BF because his penis may be causing the bad germs "yeast" to appear.

have you ever looked into canadia.  which is  yeast overgrowth in your body.  stay away from sugar and bread.  yeast feeds off of sugar, and bread has yeast in it.  you are right about the yogurt helping for yeast infections.  you might need to get a swab test done at the docs office because maybe you have a bacteria infection instead of yeast infection.  Other thing is, it has happened that people can be allergic to a guys sperm.  Also maybe if you are using condoms you may have allergy.
