????????????????

Ok. So I'm 15 years old. I got my period for the the first time April, 2008. Then i didn't  have it again till about the July, after that i still didn't again till about the middle of September. It is now January 2009. It seems like it's a gradual thing getting later and later but i don't know if i should go see a doctor or go wade it out or something. This doesn't seem right because i know people younger then me and there period has been regular for years. Should I see a doctor? If i do, are they going to have to give me horomones or something? If they do what will that do to me?

it's normal to have really irregular periods when you first start. My situation was just like yours. Enjoy it while it lasts, after that I started getting it twice a month. I eventually got on the pill to regulate it.

ThatGirl,  are you thin?  I was really thin at your age,  about 90 pounds and 5'2",  and I had spotty periods.

I would think seeing a doctor would be a good thing,  but this may be normal for you until you get a little older.  There's no real cause,  at your age,  to regulate your period.  Normal comes in different forms.

Best wishes.
