concerned about my periods after abortion

i had a surgical abortion in may this year. before i got pregnant i always knew when my period was coming because i'd get real bad pains. now my periods are on time but i'm not getting any signs of them. no pains no swollen boobs and i get my pmt after my period. also my periods usually last 4-5 days and were quite heavy. now they last 2 days and it stops. can anyone tell me if something is wrong please?

The doc cleaned you out to get any form of the baby removed from your uterus thus is called a D and C.
looks like you got your answer already.  what an attitude.  maybe this forum isn't for you because we usually don't have issues just talking.

Why are you so quick to jump down someones throat, we all get on here and talk and leave comments even if we don't necessarly know the answer.  If you want an answer go to your doc.  I have read a lot of Laura's comments and they aren't mean at all.  In fact she is good with the younger girls and helps them.  Calm down.
I also agree with what Laura stated about your problem.

okay, heres you answer when you had that done the doc probably cleaned your inside linning out of your uterus and thus got all the old stuff out and any clotting.  this is why you aren't having such heavy periods anymore.  Called and D and C.
I was posting because I was wondering if the docs doing those actually let patients know the risks.  It was an honest question and you shouldn't get so bent out of shape over it.
Many females have a thick uterun lining and have bad periods, when the doc cleans a female out after miscarriage or abortion or polip removal, it helps with heavy periods.

and i was simply asking a question about my periods which you obviously don't know the answer. why do people post replies if they are not going to answer the question and just give an opinion!

i actually stood up for the other person who had an abortion and someone said something about it.  you might want to get your facts straight.

how am i negative.  if you see what i wrote on the other persons question about abortion you would see that.
i was asking you a direct question because there is another female on here asking same question.  nothing bad about that.
