i am 27 y/o and i had a d&c and laparoscopic surgery to remove 2 cysts ( 1 on each ovary) i have not seen  my period...i had this surgery 6 weeks ago, could i be pregnant? if not, how long does it take to get a period?

It really varies from woman to woman.  If it doesn't show up in another week or two, you could call your doctor and just ask to make sure that everything is in tip-top shape.  As for pregnancy, it's hard to tell if that would be the reason without further information.  Good luck!
