Yeah as u have said it may be bacterial and the pain and discharge may be unrelated but there is a  chance that they may be related maybe an infection or so . I just said she shouldn't have waited this long
and damn i still can't digest the fact that she  urinated with pain for 1 year

Women have discharge frequently.  Sometimes it takes a while to be fully aware that it is a problem.  I would imagine she has had the odor/discharge which  could be bacterial in nature but then has developed pain during urination (a uti) which now makes it an acute situation.  Both are probably unrelated.  But that is just my guess.

But lots of people do for whatever reason wait to go to the doctor unless true pain becomes involved. That is the catalyst for many to go to the doctor and the pain during urination is what will probably get her to the doctor.

I've had a uti and I've had BV. So, know when I need to go to the doctor.  Many who either don't know that what these are or have poor access to medical care wait.

But it is time to go now for the poster.  good luck

Many people give something a chance to go away unless they know what it is because they've had it before.  That is pretty common if this is her first uti.  Human nature.  You have some who go to the doctor at the first tingle of discomfort and others who see if it goes away on its own (as some things do).

Hello, agree that you need to see your doctor.  We can not diagnose you but your symptoms are indicative or a urinary tract infection.  These are treated with antibiotics and are important to treat.  If left along, they can become a kidney infection.  Your doctor will give you an antibiotic and then a pill that will turn your urine a funny orange color that you take for a couple of days to help with the discomfort.

Important to wipe from front to back to prevent uti's and to be careful during intercourse that your partner does not allow any fecal matter from your anus to get near your front area.   Kind of gross but the reality of many UTI's.  good luck

You should visit your doctor. It might be something that could be very harmful.
