I have had my tubes tied for 4 years and have gotten PG 3 times since then, one in 05 and 2 in june of 06 and july 07.
The first 2 were miscarried fine and this last one I had an ectopic PG and it ruptured one of my tubes and had to go in and have emergency surgery to remove it.

If you had an etopic pg you would still get a + pg test.  As for the tubal the highest failure rate is in the first five years.  Good Luck

by the way i had a tubal ligation about 2 years ago, is it possible for me to be pregnant so soon. i heard the tubes can loosen after 10 years, but i have also heard of people who had a tubal ligation a year ago and still got pregnant, and it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy.

Negative blood results are a strong sign that you are not pregnant.  If you are still concerned in a few days, or after the weekend...call your doctor.  An ultrasound would firm all of this up, but usually the blood work is all that is needed.

Sorry about that i pressed enter before i was done

so anyways i ended up having emergency surgery at 7wks 2dys to remove it. so to finally answer your Q? you could have an eptopic and your levels are to low to show but the serum test are pretty accurit. Good luck!! Keep posted
