Please help :(

So, this past month i had unprotected sex 2 times. I was supposed to start my period on August 17th, but my menstrual cycle is always irregular. It is September 1st now and i still haven't started. The first time of unprotected sex was on August 15 and the second was August 16. I took the Plan B pill on the 17th and i've still yet to start my period. I have had symptoms of starting such as cramps and my breasts are sore (which are my usual signs) but i still haven't started! I have been psyching myself out a little because this is my first time having unprotected sex with my boyfriend.  I was on birth control, but stopped taking it for the month of July (great timing, i know) I just left home for college and have been homesick and stressing about all the college expenses and sorority expenses, and a bit about this pregnancy scare. Could i possibly be pregnant?

It's unlikely that you are pregnant but you can't be sure.  It depends on when you ovulated after stopping the pill.  If you were later in that happening then there is a chance that you could be pregnant.

But I agree with the others that stress is a common reason for being late.

Stress will definitely offset your period, especially if you are approaching a new milestone in your life.  Plan B works without fail (at least from what I have read). So I don't think you have anything to worry about.  To be safe though, I would consider taking a pregnancy test.  Keep in mind that missing a period here and there just happens sometimes for a variety of reasons!
