What shedual/ doseage did your dr. put you on? I have, and have always had really irregular periods. We want to try for a girl and are going to be charting my BBT but for a girl we need to have intercourse BEFORE I ovulate.

P.S. I had a daughter 2 years ago so I am fertile. We wouldn't mind twins so they could play/ grow up together but we'll take whatever we get :d

If you have been unable to get pregnant you really need to start charting your BBT to make sure that you are in fact ovulating. Even women who just started to try to concv chart their temps to find the most accurate time for intercourse.
I had very long cycles and it did interfere with my ovulation. My doctor put me on Clomid to regulate my cycles and bring ovulation on sooner.

for your first comments, i just got confused but ur second and real one is relaxing.
i 've asked my husband about these tests but he said these tests are for those who have sex after longer times. so we don't need these.

Ooops, I posted that above comment under the wrong thread.

But, while I'm here I'll take a stab at your question:

Even though you have long cycles, if they're regular then there's no reason to believe you're not ovulating.  You're just probably ovulating later in your cycle then most women with a 28-30 day cycle.

I would highly highly suggest you chart your BBT each month and possibly start using OPK's (although some women don't have any luck with them).  Charting your BBT will help you confirm that you did ovulate that month and you use OPK's and watch for bodily signs to help determine when ovulation time is approaching to know the best time for sex.

Hope this helps!  Also, there's a book that's highly recommended by other women here, it's called Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

Hi there,
I have not taken Provera, but if I remember correctly your period should start anywhere from 3-7 days after the last pill.  So if you don't get your period by this Friday, call the doc and ask what you should do.

Hope this helps.
