Well I had a blood test yesterday and I called this morning they said it was negative. I took an HPT a little while ago and there was a very...very faint line. AF is due Saturday, so I am really confused and wondering if it is still too early to tell. I have been cramping since Sunday off an on and this never happens unitl 2 days before AF.

take another test tomorrow or Friday firdt thing in the morning, and see if the line is darker. it may be too early for a blood test to be positive, because my hcg levels were 59 at 15 days past ovulation, and then went up to 1247 22 days past O. if it is less than 5 or 10, they call it negative, so just keep checking.

Hi, blood test is more accurate than urine test, its true that 5 or under is negative because its normal for women to have  5 or under when they are not pregnant, then in positive pregnancy it shoots up quickly.

Could be that the blood was taken before implantation and so hcg didn't have time to build up in your blood but by the time you took a hpt, your hcg was built up enough to give you a bfp??? I agree, test again tomorrow am with FMU or on Friday AM. Good luck.
