headaches the week I'm OFF the BC pill

Hi everyone,
I am 45 and on Yasmin to control a fibroid/endometriosis and its concurrent bleeding and cramping. The pill works great for that, but lately I've been getting headaches when I go off the pill-- I know estrogen levels dropping can cause headaches, can anyone recommend a medication for these headaches? I almost never have had headaches my entire life. I take Alleve for the mild cramps, but with Yasmin you're not supposed to take NSAIDS longterm, nad it doesnt really work that great on the headache for some reason.  I dont want to go off the pill because I have always had horrible periods.
Thanks!

How is your diet? I find when it comes close to my period I tend to overeat the sugars and carbs. This gives me headaches. Are you eating too much of a certain food group (too much sugar or salt)? If not, would you be able to take Midol? It is supposed to help with cramps, bloating, and headaches. If you dont make diet changes and decide to go ahead with some type of pain reliever, maybe take it as soon as you get up in the am, so you wont let the headache get bad for the day.
