cuts...

I am just wondering why do cuts keep reappearing in my vulva? I haven't had sex in 2 days but when I went to the bathroom today I noticed a long painful cut right inside my lips by my clitoris. What's wrong with me?

Ouch, those sound painful! Some soaps really are rough on the skin. If switching back to the old one doesn't work, there are some good hypoallergenic soaps you could try. My friend had to do that because she got lots of rashes, and that fixed it. If they look infected or you're concerned about them, a gynecologist (or maybe regular doctor) could probably give you some sort of cream to help. I hope they go away soon!!

it like like a cut from my nails. I have 7 cuts, 5 on my clitoris :( I'm thinking its from this new soap I just started using.

How many times has this happened before?

Could you have cut yourself with your fingernail while showering, wiping after using the toilet, or during any other activity? Maybe it happened during the sexual activity two days ago but didn't become inflamed and painful enough to notice until you'd been wiping regularly after using the toilet. If it looks like a cut that could be from nails, it's probably that.

If it looks like a lesion or sore, it could be a sexually transmitted virus or infection and that would have to be treated by a doctor. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get this cut looked at, either way, to make sure you don't get a normal infection. Regular antibiotic creams and ointments can't be used in that area.
