i want to start out by saying please dont judge me i took the depo vera shot not knowwing i was pregnant and i felt the signs of pregnancy so i han an abortion i took 1 pill at the office and then inserted 4 pills vaginally at home and went into full blown labor and contractions and passed everything at least i thought i stopped bleeding and then about 5 days later istarted bleeding again and its been going on for 3 weeks i only bleed a little sometimes and when i work hard or get stressed i start instantly bleeding alot.i sometimes go through 2 tampons a day and the supers and i bleed through them sometimes. i keep passing big blood clots the biggest one ive passed was the size of e kiwi cut in half but was a perfect ball the other ones are like big sringy sac like clots. anywase i dont know if its from the pill or what.should i be worried is it normal to bleed like this?

sorry i reread it and its weeks later.....well you have put your body through something tramatic, that's probably why you are still bleeding but if it doesn't stop soon you will need to go to the Dr.

I believe this is normal after an abortion. What you passed would've been your baby. It may take some time for your cycle to get back to normal, and if you didn't pass everything you may still need to get a d&c
