Women's Health

I have had my period for 10 days bright red in color and does not seem to be letting up. I am 49 is the part of menopause?

Has this happened before?

Sounds like it is menopause related.  You should consult your GYN Specialist to sort this out.  

If are experiencing this often you should definitely have basic labs drawn, i.e. RBC count and iron labs, to make sure you aren't becoming anemic.

It could be menopause but also other reason so I would make appt with doctor
