Can anyone help?!

A couple months ago I posted in the herpes section but I would like other opinions because I've never had any blisters or anything. About 4 months ago I noticed I've been getting kind of thick white discharge and it comes with a slight burning usually a week or two before my period each month. This is negative for yeast and I'm not sure about BV. This month I had the burning and noticed a couple days before my period my panties had a yellow like discharge. Once my period started my inner labia became extremely itchy mainly after peeing and it would burn a little NOT while peeing tho. It's went away after about 3 days I'm currently taking metronidazole. Does anyone have this or know anything?!?!

I would also like to say she said I look irritated down there I don't know if it's from wearing thongs and I'm not exactly sure what she means by irritated? I also have been having slight burning every once in a while around my anus.

Well thats a reliefe to hear that! But I seen the doctor and I was swabbed for yeast and it came back negative. 3 other times she just prescribed me medicine and the discharge would seem to go away but the burning didnt. Can they test for eczema or just look at it? Also I don't think I mentioned that this time right when my period ended i noticed my inner labia had some skin peeling off. Also this was the first time I wore pads in years so I don't know if that's the reason. I can't see my doctor for two weeks because my insurance is currently off.

Hi there and welcome.  Well the good news is that it certainly doesn't sound like herpes!  Have you talked to your doctor about it?  Has he cultured the discharge?  Why are you sure it is not yeast?  There are other things LIKE yeast that aren't yeast but fungal like yeast.  The discharge and itch would be similar.  Some women have eczema in this area as well.  But I think your best bet is a discussion regarding this with your doctor.  good luck
