is it posible to get pregnant after period

im 23 years old engaged and im not ready to get pregnant yet ..
i just had my period like 3 days ago..i had sex with my fiance,,i wanna know if its safe or i need to take some birth control pills

Its so funny you talk about the PlanB pill when its being advertised on the top page of this discussion.

Sorry poster, but the girls are right, unprotected sex should never happen during anytime in your cycle as u never know. i think you need to look into some family planning options and choose one. good luck!

If it's 3 days from when your period started then you are probably okay.  However if it's 3 days after it ended and it was fairly long then there's a chance you can still get pregnant.  If it's been less that 72 hours since you had sex I'd probably suggest you get the morning after pill if you really don't want a pregnancy.

The moral of the story is that you need to use a reliable form of contraception.  Otherwise it's not if you will have a baby but when.

yes you need to take birth control if your not ready to get pregnant.

anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant. had your period like ended it or from the start when you had sex?

you asked if "its safe or i need to gake some birth control pills" birth control doesnt work like you have sex go and take a handful.

if your talking about plan b. then if you wish to take it then ok. but know that its not a form of birth control
