Well you only need to have sex every other day...which basically means preferably the day before you ovulate and then the day after. This is because the sperm live for up to 72 hours (or more) and so if you ovulate the day after sex then there will be sperm still swimming towards the egg. The day after you ovulate if you have sex the egg will still be 'alive' and making its way down the fallopian tube so that if any sperm haven't already penetrated they can have another 'go'. It is for this reason you don't need to 'do it' every day. Remember it only takes the one sperm and also I've heard that it's good to let the male's sperm rejuvinate and build up within a 48 hour period...or so they say! But have fun and let nature takes its course! Good luck!

I watched a prog about fertility by robert winston, and he showed the cervix after an orgasm and it kinda 'throbs', cant think of a better word but basically he said that it helps with getting preg cos its dipping in the sperm, so maybe if u can try to enjoy it aswell as using it for BD, that could help too! Relaxing prob helps too, maybe you can start with a nice sensual bath, maybe aroma therapy Ive read that can get u in the mood.

Did u know when lions mate the lioness rolls on her back after lol! I guess we know why now!

If you haven't already done so...have sex now!!! Also the egg may not have 'ruptured' or released yet so I would skip tomorrow and do it the day after as well!!! Worked 4 times for me (except that I didn't know I was ovulating) !!!

Ashley - you should pick up a book called "Taking Charge of your Fertility" it is an absolute must-read for everyone trying to conceive.

Having "enough" sex means once a day. Your partner's sperm needs time to regenerate (a full 48 hours, in fact) so doing it more than that will just be recreation, not creation! Also, be cautious with putting the pillow under your hips.. your hips should only be SLIGHTLY elevated.. lifting them too high will actually cause the sperm to pool behind your cervix, instead of where you want it to go. It is probably enough for you to lie with your knees up instead of pillow - this position will tilt your cervix into the sperm pool. Also, make sure you lie on your back for 15-20 minutes afterwards - this is about how long it takes for the sperm to find their way.

oh and when you are done having sex put a pillow under your hips for 20 minutes and lay flat on your back for another 10.  This will help guide the sperm and will help not to leak any.

Have enough sex in the next 24 to 48 hours.
