infections......

hello...dosomebody kknow...diferents between-yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis?

Megancannon is absolutely right..BV has this fishy odor and is treated with a week of antibiotics
Yeast on the other hand most women c/o itching and cottage cheese consistency discharge. and it is treated as Megan said, with Diflucan or a topical antifungal cream such as Monostat cream..

yes you have to go to the doctor, they will do a pelvic exam and take some swabs and if the test comes back positive for BV they will give you antibiotics, if it's yeast they will usually give you one pill called diflucan or some creams.

yes, loocks like i  have too...just i have sometimes that fishy smell...
how you take that away..did doctor give some medisan?

bacterial vaginosis usually creates a bad odor like a 'fishy smell'. i have had both and honestly did not even know i had BV. I used a vagasil screening kit and found out my PH was high. Also, every women has different symptoms. I never had the fishy odor and that is one of the classic symptoms.
