is the pill making me sick?

since i've been on the pill i've been sick quiet alot. if i miss a day i feel the affects hard. sometimes when im at work and i eat during my breaks i start to feel sick and less then an hour of eating im rushing to the toliets to vomit.
i do have the problem where i never eat on time and have big time delays between meals. i have noticed that when i have taken medication and have not eaten my hands start to shake and my belly starts to hurt, so i tend to think that its becasue i need to eat. so i eat and eat full, but then i feel sick and start shaking some more and vomit it all up again.
is the pill doing something to my body or does the pill just rely on you having constant food in you stomach. please help me coz i can't take it anymore and i know im not pregnent so i shouldn't be sick like this.

I have been taking Springtec bc for the past 4 months and I have never been so sick! I have been to the ER 3 times Ive had a CT scan, blood work, X rays because I had no idea what was making me so sick!  I have never really been sick throughout my life Ive always been so healthy.. my back starts hurting so bad to the point im throwing up and it just gets worse the more the day goes on. It started in my kidneys just this terrible achey feeling that would start hurting so bad it was uncomfortable to even sit or lay down, it now has gone up my back to my shoulder blades.  I have indegestion really bad and when I don't eat I get really shakey and my back starts aching then the neasea comes then I start throwing up. I have lost 30 pounds and am continuing to lose weight which I can't control because I have no appetite. I don't have much of a sex drive anymore, which is very weird for me, my moods have been absolutely crazy! Ive had many moments at work where I got lightheaded and felt like I was going to pass out.. I just cant believe how sick it has made me! Im 20 yrs old I dont have kids, so I was so confused at what was making me so sick. Im in the process of gettin it switched to something else today...does anyone know why it does that to u? or what I could switch to?

I was on a pill that I loved for 5 years. I just recently got off of it after being sick everyday for 5 months...the pill turned on me..you should get off it if you have been on it for more than a month and are still sick, it's not healthy...try a different one or use condoms you will see relief in 2 days after being off of it.

I was on the pill and I get chronic stomach aches, I don't vomit, but often gag and feel the need to. If I don't eat when I take my pill, I feel lightheaded and get spells where I loose sight for two or three seconds, and then it comes back. Also, if I don't eat when I take it I feel sick all day.
Apparently these are all normal side effects and should go away after having been on the pill for three months. If you've been on longer, I suggest you talk to your doctor. Regardless, you should mention it to her.
Good luck!

I didn't throw up, but I felt sick often.  It made me feel tired and depressed.  I was on a couple of different pills and the patch.  It could be that it is the pills.  Ask your doctor.  If you need to be on them, then you may just need to switch to a different kind.

be careful - my birth control (the patch, a lot stronger) gave me seizures that started out by feeling sick.

but i'm the only one recorded that that's happened to, and nausea is a common side effect of birth control so you're probably in the clear.

but personally i'm a little against birth control after that
