Yellowish tinged discharge is normal as long as there is no odor and it causes no discomfort. Also watery, clear and white are also normal.  It may even increase in amount. :) What fun for us pregnant gals.

is that true (okay for yellowish discharge) only when pregnant OR is it okay/normal all of the time? i just recall hearing that yellow discharge usually indicates some type of infection?

Very normal in pregnancy and I would occas during the months prior to getting pregnant have yellow discharge. OB-GYN said it is normal and just so happens to be the color of my discharge.

yes, okay. thank you for clarifying. my dr. said the same thing but whenever you read here about yellow discahrge they always say "infection" i would assume anything out of the ordinary would be concern.

Actually any color discharge could be infection if it is accompanied by odor, pain, itch, etc....
