menopausal or not?

I am 45 yrs old soon to be 46,  at age 30 I delivered my 4th child, had a tubeligation,(burned and cut), had laperoscopy at age 37 was told tubes not repairable. with new sex partner now about 7 months, almost immediatly into relationship started having irregular periods. but generally always 21 to 28 days apart generaly light to moderate and this month I have not had any.  I have all the classic symtoms of pregnancy mostly swollen, sore breasts. heartburn, nausea ect. could I accually be pregnant or should I be concerned more about menopause and does it usually start so suddenly?

Hi Jende, i suffer similar symptoms, same age except only one child and i too am sterilised.I believe you are peri-menopausal which is basically the period of time, varies from woman to woman, where your hormones are basically all over the place, like puberty in reverse. This can start 10 yrs before the menopause, i started noticing problems at age 37. Google oestrogen dominance and if you feel that your symptoms match then there are quite a few natural solutions out there that can help x good luck x
