microgestin is it good?
i asked my doctor today for a bc pill she gave me microgestin anyone with good or bad experience with it?
Also, if you got to askapatient.com they will have user reviews of lots of medicines. If you look it up by brand name (Loestrin), you will find many complaints like mine.
All I can say is run like hell from this pill! I took it for 6 years and never had a problem. I switched to Seasonale for 2 years, but that didn't work, so I switched back to Microgestin. I was on it for 2 weeks. In the first week I had intense headaches. Then one week after I started I had the worst headache of my life in addition to numbness in my whole left side, and face, and nausea. I thought I was having a stroke at 21 years old! I endured multiple tests and the doctors found nothing wrong. My anxiety is through the roof! I gave speeches to crowds of 300+ people before without feeling the slightest bit nervous! Today I was scared to stand in the bank because I thought it would be robbed or held up, and I convinced myself I had tetanus! I'm on anti-anxiety meds now and they barely help. The only diagnosis I got is Chronic Severe Anxiety. I've been off it for 1 month and still have severe anxiety and random numbness and chest pains. Please do not take this pill!
