miscarriage?

I had all the symptoms of pregnancy then I started my period early and its been four days of heavy bleeding and blood clots, and extreme cramping. Ive never had a miscarriage before but suspect this could be one.. any advice or opinions. Should I go to the doc?

This is def not a "typical" period for me.. its just about over now.. but I had extreme cramping in my lower abdomen and back and the amount of bleeding was ridiculous.  But its about done now so im not  going to make an extra trip to the doctor but will def bring it up when I go to my next check up.

If your period was later than usual and longer than usual it could be a spontaneous abortion. Many women have these and think theyre having a bad period. If you become light headed or dizzy and the pain is
is unbearable go to the hospital.
