Mirena bleeding problems

Hello again just the other day I posted a question about Mirena.  I have been bleeding since Dec 1.  I got it inserted about two months ago.  Now I know that the bleeding can be normal.  But just a while ago I used the restroom.  I know this is a little bit too much info but, I passed a very large blood clot, I checked it and it was not the IUD.  It was bigger than a silver dollar coin.  Also even with my regular period I never pass any clots. Also experiencing mild cramping. Please can any one help me.

I have Mirena, but have never passed any blood clots. Just to be on the safe side I would call your doctor to see if this is a normal reaction..If it is then you can be relieved, and if it isn't then she can set up an appointment for you!!Good Luck!!

Thank you the docotr said that it is normal.  But that mild cramping gets worse throughout the day and the last two nights I have been running fever and catching chills. When I told the DR about that he prescribed a very strong antiboitic and said he wanted to see me next week. Do you think I should get it taken out or just wait it out. Also pain during sex, which I have not been having much of. Please help.

I had mirena inserted 2 months ago and I am having the same brown sluge discharge that you are describing.   I know exactly what you mean when you say you feel down because that is exactly how I feel right now.  I've considered callign the doctor, but I know they will say it is normal.....I was hoping it would go away within the next month or so, but if you are saying that yours is returning at 7 months I don't know if I can deal with this for that long as it is affecting my sex life with my husband.   I know I wasn't much help, but I wanted you to know that you are not alone.

I was just wondering if it is normal to be bleeding for like 3 weeks now?  I had my Mirena put in a the start of July, bleed for awhile and then stoped.  Started my period about 3 weeks ago and now it won't stop.  I don't have any pain, but it's really getting on my nerves.  Any advise?
