Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that lives in the stomach.
This can cause stomach and gastric problems with nausea and pain and be the cause of gastric ulcers.
Treatment is usually with two different antibiotics and a stomach medication for excess acid.
Best wishes.
oh may she get through with that soon. what is helicobacter pylori?
To be honest, I can't remember. She hasn't lived with me for a few years now. She hasn't complained for a long time about problems, so I presume things have settled down. Things are better when she eats a healthy diet and doesn't have too much stress to cope with. Period wise she never knows when it is due.
She did have helicobacter pylori and was in extreme pain. It took ages to find out what the problem was and eventually she got sorted out with that. An accurate reading is by a stool sample or breath test.
She is overweight too, but has recently started a high protein diet to lose weight.
Best wishes
oh does she feel the same way when her cycle is prolonged to this extent?
My daughter has polycystic ovaries, that is how I know that you can go for months without having a menstrual cycle.
You do need to see your doctor to get checked out though.
Hope you get on OK.
Best wishes.
thank u so much.. i will take the tests. but not for pregnancy cz i am a virgin. but still the rest helped me alot to understand. thanks again :)
Although you have polycystic ovaries, it is common not to have periods for months on end with this.
With your symptoms you may be due on soon, or there may be other reasons for you feeling this way.
The doctor may decide to take blood tests for anaemia, diabetes and possibly a pregnancy test as well as a hormone test.
He can also help you by directing you to a dietician with regard you trying to lose your weight.
Make sure you are eating a healthy balanced diet with fresh fruit and veg and fibre; drink plenty of water. Cut out all the junk foods, and the cakes, crisps, alcohol etc. If you feel irritable and nauseous, make sure you eat little and often. You may be suffering from hypoglycaemia when the sugar level in the blood drops. You do not need to be a diabetic to suffer from low sugar levels.
Best wishes.
