not sure if there's a lost tampon in me or not

I am 14 years old, I just got on my period about 3 days ago. I got drunk on my second night of my period (I know, underage drinking), and put a tampon in around 830, I'm not sure if I left it in, or if it fell out. I've felt up there with my finger, but can't find it. I don't know how far it can go up in 2 nights, or how far my finger can go. I don't know what to do. And i've been worrying myself, please help. I'm scared.

Have you tried squatting and bearing down? Or squatting over a mirror to see if you can spot the trace of the string? It can't go far. After it becomes saturated, it becomes slippery, and most likely fall out.

If you have an ob-gyn, you could go in and have them check.  It sounds embarrassing, but lost-tampon visits aren't uncommon.  (You don't have to tell the doctor it had to do with being drunk if you don't want to, but it might be good if you did, simply because the doc might be able to convince you not to be drinking to the point of getting drunk, at age 14.  That can get you into a lot worse pickles than merely a lost tampon.)  Anyway, even a regular general practitioner can do a pelvic exam and look for a tampon, but I tended to prefer any pelvic exam I got to come from an ob-gyn.  Good luck!
