odor in that "certain area"

I'm only 12 and for a bout a year or so now (since i've started my period) i've been able to smell an odor from my viginia. It bothers me and makes me self conscious. I mean i can just touch my pants and smell it on my hands. any suggestions to solve my problem???

Don't douche. It can cause more problems. Just try to keep as clean as you can by showering each day and changing clothes every morning and don't stay in damp underwear after you've exercised, etc. That should help!
