MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be a boil or an external hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoids are varicosities and inflammation of veins in the rectum and anus. They are caused and increased by increased straining during bowel movements, by constipation or diarrhea, hypertension, obesity, excessive consumption of alcohol or caffeine and portal hypertension.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing

Hi,

If it's not pussing or bleeding, it sounds like it could be a sebaceous cyst or ganglion cyst.  Most of the time they do not require removal by a doctor, unless it's painful or in a real irritating place, which it sounds like it is.  You may want to see a doctor if it continues to bother you.  Do not try and pop it or remove it on your own.  Good luck to you :)
