ovary pain

Im sort of new. Im having real bad ovary pain, with cramping. To the point I vomit, or almost vomit. My doctor has scheduled a sonagram. Are there any questions I should ask my doctor at this appointment? I was treated for painful ovaries for many years, but not like this. And I hurt in my back. Anyone have this same problem? Thanks for listening. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Thanks, misty2008

This was the same year and month that I too had the same problem. It hit me out of nowhere and I vomited 4 times before being rushed to the hospital. And the 6 times more while there. I could not keep anything down and it was hell. I had 2 golf ball sized cysts in my right ovary and was warned that if they didn't recede on their own, I would need surgery. It's a high possibility that I will have PCOS with those symptoms. Both sides of the family have it and if your family is the same, genetics will eff you over.

An ovarian cyst, especially if it's very large, can cause those symptoms. So can endometriosis. Really, the only way you'll know is from the ultrasound. When do you go in? Soon I hope for your peace of mind and comfort.
