ovulation?

I am 20 years old. I do NOT have regular cycles at all. they're all over the place. this month I started on October 22-27th. Its now Nov 1st and when I use the bathroom and wipe, its a SUPER light pink.. and sometimes a pale brown. However, it looks kinda "slimy" like ovulation.. could this be ovulation ? Or why is this happening. thank you all

Hi there and welcome.  Hm, well, they do talk about that stretchy mucus when ovulating but it isn't typically pink.  Pink would indicate a little tiny bit of blood mixed with discharge and the brown would be old blood.  I would say that in general, you never know when you are ovulating and you are on day 9 of your cycle and it gets easier to get pregnant on that day and for the next 11 days if you were to have what women have as the 'average' cycle-----  but it is hard to say exactly what is going on with you.  I'd use protection for sure (and would any way on any day of the cycle) if you are trying to prevent pregnancy.  Your hormones may be out of whack a little dear.  This is something to talk to your doctor about.  When is the last time that you had an exam and pap?  This would be a good time.  good luck
