peeing alot but no extra intake of liquid

I have been going to the bathroom alot more than usual especially since I been at school. My intake on liquids is the same as usual, but no matter what I do I always have to go to the bathroom.  At night I go to the bathroom at least 4 times.  During the day I go to the bathroom at least 6-7 times when usually I only go to the bathroom 2 -3 times during the day and if I'm lucky once at night or none.  I was just woundering what could be the cause of this?  Thank you to all who answers.

If the problem is not serious, try switching to juice instead of water, or taking in salt with water so that you retain it (instead of passing it through your system). Sometimes I have the same problem, and it seems to come and go. Moderation to your diet might be your best bet, especially if you've been trying to drink enough water lately to make up for the fluid loss. Good luck!

Seems like a strange question, but have you ever had any type of abdominal surgery at all?  Whether it be an appendectomy, what have you?
