period

Okay so, im on birth control and you know how they have the set of pills you take and thats when you get your period? well, let me start off by first saying that, ive skipped those pills for two months in a row. i got a yeast infection so i took the period pills this month. well, i took three period pills, got my period, so i started back on my regular pills skipping four of my period pills. well, ive taken six regular pills already and im STILL on my period. its the brown "after" blood thats coming out. but im wondering why after six days im still getting it? is it just ALOT of it because i skipped it for two months? is it something else? help please?!

yeah its not heavy at all. at first i thought it was done, and my boyfriend and i had sex, and he saw a little bit. gross haha. Since its been happening i've been wearing a panty liner and only a little bit comes out onto it, and then i see it when i wipe down there. so its not a HUGE problem, just annoying! but thank you both so much. if it keeps happening im going to go see my gyno and see if there is another pill for me. its done this once before a LONG time ago. (ive been on this same pill for almost two years) i was on my period for like a month and i just let it go away by itself and it did. but you guys were very helpful. thank you.

I'm sure you're fine. I would guess it's because you skipped the placebo weeks (period pills) the last 2 times so when you did let yourself have a period, it's just taking longer for the spotting to stop. I wouldn't worry about it as long as it's just spotting, but if it's heavy bleeding for that long, then I would call the doctor and see what they say.
