please help - this hurts!

First, I'm not sure which category this falls into - I am 22 years old, never been pregnant. My periods are very irregular and I have a Rx for birth control but haven't started taking it yet (I will in 2 days). My doctor just started me on Adipex as well. What bothers me is that I am experiencing HORRIBLE pain in my left breast..and the closer I get to the nipple, the worse it is. This doesn't occur at any specific time, with the exception of the past 3 nights, and earlier today at work. Normally when it's you know, cold enough I will have this, but it's still pretty summer-like weather. Anyway, so my nipple gets REALLY hard, then the top of it has this white-ish color. There's a burning/tingly sensation, but if I put my hand under it and kind of cup it it tends to ease pressure (if I'm siting down) but if I'm laying down trying to sleep and it happens I literally have to put my fingers on opposite sides and try to "pull" the skin so that it removes the wrinkles (areolas are shrivelled in appearance). Even then, the pain is still there. I did start putting vasoline on it, and it's almost instant relief....not so good for my clothes though. I just had my annual exam / breast exam and everything was normal. If someone can help me I would appreciate it SO much!!! Thanks in advance!

w0w u are describing my breasts throughout my 20's they were very cystic (felt like someo0ne shoved rocks in my breasts) and at times leaky but that was due to the ovarian cancer i had but didnt know about
my suggestion .. go to ur gyn .. tell him u need a mammogram or a breast ultrasound and ask for a transvaginal ultrasound
god bless u
