i AM GLAD TO KNOW I HAVE SOMEONE TO TALK TO. I DID GO TO THE DOCTOR ON MON. AND TOLD HIM I THOUGHT I COULD HAVE A UTI AND THEY DID A URINE ANALYSIS, THEY NEVER CALLED ME WITH THE RESULTS. WHAT DOES A URINE ANALYSIS CHECK FOR AND COULD HE HAVE FORGOTTEN? MY ONLY SYMPTOM IS I DON'T SEEM TO GET TO THE BATHROOM IN TIME, IT DOESN'T HURT WHEN I PEE OR NOTHING. HE IS OUT OF THE OFFICE TODAY SO THAT IS NO HELP. I WILL TELL HIM IN THE MORNING. WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I DO? WILL THEY STILL DO THE SURGERY AND JUST TREAT ME WITH ANTIBIOTICS OR WLL THEY CANCEL IT? I WILL BE DRINKING CRANBERRY JUICE ALL DAY TO HELP. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATTED. HOW DID YOU DO AFTER YOUR SURGERY? DID YOU GET DEPRESSED AT ALL? THAT IS WHAT I AM WORRIED ABOUT. SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS BUT I AM GLAD I HAVE SOMEBODY TO ASK.

Oh, they wont cancel if you have a UTI.You could always try to call the office,but i'm gonna guess,no news is good news.I actually did pretty good, the only problem i have is that i'm not always in the "mood".but that is common, my dh just has to work harder to get me ready thats all.are you having youtr ovaries and cervix out too? all mine is gone and i am on premarin.

Yeah thats what I thought and I am glad to hear they won't cancel for that, Are there risks with having it done if I do have a UTI? I have heard that some people those their sex drive, some say I won't, Guess I will have to wait and see, but the truth is I am hardly ever in the mood now because of the pain, sorry if TMI. My doctor wants to leave both of my ovaries, before he wanted to take the left side, he said he still might but he is def. leaving the right side alone. he is taking the cervix along with the uterus. He also explianed how he will stitch everything to make sure it all stays in place....ouchy. Anyway, thanks for your help.
